When we said 360* of fun, activities & leisure, we really did mean it! As the map shows, we are right by the sea & a stones throw from all the beach & marine activity you can manage. From Power Boating, Rib boating, land boarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, wind surfing, kite surfing, sand buggy, water ski or jet ski, we have it all.
If you prefer something a little more land based, then target sports might be your thing with Archery, Axe throwing, crossbow or air riffle practice. A short drive to Hailsham gives you Quad biking, but if your desire is something a little more challenging or competitive, then maybe wall climbing & paint balling is right up your street. We have free outdoor courts in Alexander Park & the Stade, as well as bookable sports activities at the local indoor sports centre for those that prefer shelter when they play.

Hastings & the surounding area has an established & enviable reputation for some of the finest food produce in Sussex. It not only boasts the best meat produced from locally bred herds of beef and Romney Marsh Lamb, but also some of the freshest locally caught fish from one of the largest beach launched fishing fleets in Britain. The quality & local abundance of this fair, means you cannot get tastier produce. Many of the local restaurants take full advantage of this & you will find that both locals & vistors frequent their establishments.
Hastings has a number of food festivals to celebrate the bounty of the sea & harvest of the land. These include 'Eat Global,' in March,' Midsummer Fish Festival,' in June, 'Hastings Seafood & wine Festival,' in September & the 'Herring Festival,' In November.

Hastings has long been the home of the artist & as you strole through the streets, don't be surprized if you bump into one or two of them. From actors & comedians such as Tom Baker, Eddie Izzard & Paul Merton, artists & sculptors such as Julliette Dodd, Caroline Macey & Lee dyer and singers such as 'Suggs' from Madness, they've all made Hastings their home. In fact we also seen to have our fair share of multi-generational artists as well. Tracy Emin went to college here & Jo Brand grew up here. The Bohemian atmosphere of Hastings remains a Mecca for all artists, no matter what their craft & the South Coast is fast becoming the 'go to' place for exhibitions at the De La Warr Pavilion, Jerwood Gallery & many smaller, more personal, galleries scattered around the town. It also boasts some iconic Art Deco, Modernist architectural buildings in which to exhibit. Along with 2 theatres & many museums we have a much more to wet your cultural appetite. Come & see what Hastings Has to offer!
